Challenge:
For SEPHORiA 2024 — Sephora’s flagship beauty event and one of the most anticipated moments in the beauty world — we were tasked with creating a visual concept that would build excitement and capture the essence of the experience in a single, memorable moment.The brief: use the iconic Sephora shopping bag as the centerpiece, and reveal what guests can expect inside the world of SEPHORiA.
Our Approach:
We reimagined the iconic Sephora bag as more than packaging — as a portal. In one continuous motion, the bag lifts to reveal a rotating carousel: a kinetic zoetrope unfolding into a sequence of surreal, dreamlike rooms.
Each panel of the carousel revealed a different facet of the SEPHORiA experience: artistry, discovery, interactivity, and play.
Results & Impact:
The animation became an instantly recognizable extension of SEPHORiA brand— bold, immersive, and true to its visual identity. With over 2.2 million organic views, it served as a scroll-stopping entry point into the event across Sephora’s social platforms.
